Call of the Wild
by Jack London I have to give props, first of all, to Jack London. Writing a book from the point of view of a dog is a bold leap, and I think he did it really well. Strangely enough, I think this book might actually make a better movie than a book, and there are moments of tension that might be captured better on film, than in from the point of view of a canine. I recommend the book, it might not change your life, or make you run around in the woods, but I think it is a brave and bold book that touches you in the heart.

Besides this, I really enjoyed the book and read it in about a day.
It was beautiful. There exists in people, I think, a heart that is wild and London, through his dog narrative, can be translated to the human experience.
Since I am training Brazilian jiu-jitsu like crazy right now, I took some lessons from the book as well. Namely, stealthy, patience and attention.
