Of Mice and Men
by John Steinbeck
Book Read on 2 / 10 / 2007
A classic. Such a sad book. There are a number of Christ allusions in the story, some snakes, etc, which adds another level of interpretation to the book that I never read before. Also Lennie as a Christ-figure he being sacrificed for other people's sin, etc. But I had forgotten how sad it is. I hadn't read it since high school. It is a really short book, but I think it is a perfect length. And quite nearly, a perfect book.
