The Great Gatsby

by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Book Read on 11 / 8 / 2006
I finished "The Great Gatsby" (#2) and the book was great. I am not that surprised, I was supposed to have read it in high school and university. But this time I read it for myself, not a class. To be honest, I'm not even sure that I actually finished it when I was assigned it in school. Fitzgerald is a master of subtlety and nuance. Don't judge the book by its cover, it will be invariably bad. Or the way Gatsby says "Old Sport". It is supposed to be disconcerting and fake. And remember the Doctor is a metaphor for God. This book was incredible.
